Empowering Women, Youth & Marginalized Communities

SPDI’s current focus is on strengthening the inclusive participation of women, youth, local authorities, people living with disabilities, and other marginalized groups in decision-making, livelihood opportunities, and democratic processes.

Through peacebuilding activities, information workshops, civic engagement dialogues, agriculture initiatives, advocacy, and Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs), SPDI creates opportunities for communities to raise their voices, exercise their rights, and participate in decisions affecting their lives.

We also address social and economic barriers that limit women, girls, and marginalized groups from participating in political and community processes. By creating opportunities for recognition, leadership, economic participation, and community engagement, SPDI helps individuals and communities build confidence and resilience.
