SPDI works with smallholder farmers and communities to establish Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) that provide practical community-based financial services.
Through VSLAs, community members can develop savings habits, access small loans, and invest in productive activities such as purchasing seeds and farming tools or establishing small income-generating enterprises.
Training and coaching help participants use financial resources responsibly while strengthening their ability to improve agricultural productivity, diversify incomes, and invest in their families’ futures.
